Starting the Game

You have made the plunge into Star Citizen, welcome citizen

This site is just to get you started, but we will get grinding out credits in no time. Star Citizen has a number of paths to credits... some within the laws of the system and some not so much. If you break the law you could end up in prison for a stretch. Not to worry, happens to everyone, you maybe clearing out a bunker and someone steps in front of you. Heat of battle and all... but thats for another day

For now we are going to focus on the basic game mechanics, getting you to a space station, and doing some noob missions. The videos are from our YouTube channel, feel free to check it out and see more of our great content :-)

You will start from your hangar in your home location in a flightsuit and helmet. You need to call your ship and get to the space station. You could explore at your home location, but be warned, they can be large and most involve taking trains to get around. Watch The Basics & Getting to a space station videos

Getting Around:

• Movement (Walking/Running/Flying): W, A, S, D
• Jump / Up (EVA): Spacebar
• Crouch / Down (EVA): Ctrl
• Sprint: Shift
• Walk (Toggle): G
• Interact: F
• Get Up(Bed/Chair): hold Y

Vitals & Survival:
You need to monitor your character's vitals, including health, food, water, temperature, and atmospheric pressure.

Sustenance:
Make sure to eat and drink regularly to avoid negative status effects.

Environmental Hazards:
Always wear a proper spacesuit and helmet when venturing into a vacuum or hostile environments—extreme temperatures and lack of pressure will quickly kill you.

Combat & Safety:
Star Citizen is a hybrid PvE and PvP game. You can be minding your own business when someone attacks you—whether it's an NPC tied to a mission or a player who's just bored.

Situational Awareness:
Always keep an eye on your surroundings. If another ship or person starts maneuvering near you, pay close attention.

Watch Your Target:
Avoid shooting first without a valid reason; if you attack an innocent player or guard, you'll earn a Crimestat and end up doing a stretch in prison.
